시대는 자신이 다루는 물질로 세상을 느끼고 표현한다.
오래전 금속은 손의 온기와 기술로 다듬어지며 그 표면에는 사람의 시간과 관계의 흔적이 남는다. 또한 오늘의 물질은 온도에 반응하며, 고정된 형태보다 변화의 과정을 받아들인다.
이 두 감각은 서로 다른 시대의 속도를 보여준다. 은과 갈륨, 두 금속은 변하지 않는 가치의 지속과 깊이의 언어를, 그리고 변화하는 새로운 흐름의 언어로서 공존한다. 서로 다른 두 물질은 시대의 감각을 말하는 방식을 말한다.
The era senses and expresses the world through the materials it handles.
In the past, metal was refined by the warmth of the hand and the precision of skill, leaving on its surface traces of time and human relationships. Today’s materials, however, respond to temperature and embrace transformation rather than remaining fixed in form.
These two sensibilities reveal the differing tempos of their times. Silver and gallium—two metals—stand side by side as languages of enduring value and depth, as well as of shifting, emerging currents. Together, they embody how contrasting materials articulate the sensibilities of an era.
