"Archiving: memo"는 일상 속에서 발생하는 흔적을 신체에 착용하는 장신구로 기록하며 그 과정을 탐구하는 전시다. 이 장신구들은 개인의 삶에서 일어나는 사건들을 기록하여 아카이빙으로 변환되며, 그 순간들이 모여 이야기를 구성한다. 착용자는 자신의 일상을 장신구에 담아내며, 이는 단편적 사건들이 모여 새로운 의미를 창출하는 과정을 드러낸다.
작가는 장신구의 단순한 제작과 사용을 넘어선 상호작용과 기록의 가치를 탐색하며, 시간이 흐름에 따라 그것이 어떻게 변화하는지에 대한 고민으로 관람객이 직접 탐구할 수 있는 기회를 부여한다. 각각의 장신구는 착용자의 일상에서 발생하는 순간적인 흔적을 기록하는 도구로 기능하며, 일상이 예술과 만나 새로운 의미를 생성하는 과정을 탐구한다.
본 전시는 단순히 관람의 경험을 넘어서, 일상의 흔적을 통해 개인의 기억과 경험을 보존하는 방식에 대한 깊은 성찰을 제공한다. 여기에는 우리가 어떻게 일상에서 의미를 찾고, 그것을 통해 삶과 예술 사이의 연결고리를 탐색하는지에 대한 통찰이 포함된다.
"Archiving: memo" is an exhibition that explores the process of recording traces that occur in everyday life by wearing them on the body as jewelry. These pieces of jewelry transform events from an individual's life into archives, and these moments come together to form a story. The wearer encapsulates their daily life within the jewelry, revealing a process where fragmented events come together to create new meanings.
The artist goes beyond the simple creation and use of jewelry to explore the value of interaction and recording, providing visitors with the opportunity to directly investigate how it changes over time. Each piece of jewelry functions as a tool to record fleeting traces from the wearer's daily life, examining the process where everyday life meets art and new meanings are generated.
This exhibition provides deep reflection on how personal memories and experiences are preserved through everyday traces, going beyond the experience of viewing. It includes insights into how we find meaning in our daily lives and through that, explore the connection between life and art.
