이동춘은 장신구 작가로서 13회 국내외 개인전과 다수의 단체전을 통해 작품을 발표했다. 현재 국민대학교에 재직 중이며, 2000년 현대장신구 전시 ｢장신구제안｣ 공동 기획을 시작으로 ｢플라스틱 플라스틱 플라스틱｣(2002, 2017), ｢나무-연장된 삶｣(2016), ｢욕망하는 꽃｣(2014) 등을 포함한 전시를 15회 기획하였다. 독립된 장르로서 현대장신구의 개념적 확대와 재료적 다양성을 소재로 전시를 기획하고 있다.
Dongchun Lee, jewelry artist, presented his work through 12 solo exhibitions in Korea and abroad, and is currently teaching at Kookmin University. He co-curated an exhibition ｢Suggestion｣ in 2000 and has curated 15 exhibitions since then, including ｢Plastic Plastic Plastic｣(2002, 2017), ｢Wood-Extended Life｣(2016), and ｢Flower of Desire｣(2014). Dongchun Lee has been curating exhibitions that explore the conceptual expansion and material diversity in contemporary jewelry as an independent genre.
